Office, Breakfast Area and Billiards Room

Short Hills NJ

COMFORTABLE & SLEEK

As a businesswoman, video artist, and mother of three, M&H could see that Jayme needed a fresh, feminine (but not too frilly!) space to invite her clients into, that could double as a guest room. Modern, rich textures combined with custom art and an airy palette created a space comfortable enough to sleep in and sleek enough for clients.

STYLE DIVINING

M&H were immediately inspired by Jayme’s serene, welcoming presence, and they could see the joy she found in her fun-loving family. They were eager to give her a fresh style and what better way than by creating a welcoming lounge/activity room as the centerpiece for their home?

DARING & PRACTICAL

It was a daring move to put a billiards room where a living room should be, but Jayme was all for it. Elegant mood lighting, the best of the best furniture, and unique artwork, tied the masculine materials and feminine color palette together. The result? A lively gathering space that welcomes friends and family of all ages.

ELEVATING SPACE

In Jayme’s breakfast area, M&H wanted to create an elevated eating space as a practical solution for daily living. A fresh coat of color to compliment her existing kitchen décor and vibrant new seating was added to a custom-colored banquette, creating a cheerful spot to enjoy a meal with the family.

CUSTOMIZE IT

Simple solutions can make a big difference. Custom rollout shelving helps keep Jayme’s space looking chic without losing the practicality she needs. M&H wanted to leave her with a home that would be vibrant, sophisticated, and easy to incorporate into her life as a businesswoman, wife, and mother of three kids plus a fast-moving puppy!
