This Summit, New Jersey Colonial farmhouse was designed to feel effortless—beautiful, functional, and deeply comfortable. Every room reflects a balance of texture, tone, and proportion, creating spaces that invite daily use while maintaining a quiet sense of sophistication.

This project showcases exceptional farmhouse interior design with attention to detail, natural materials, and timeless finishes. It is a standout example of Summit New Jersey interior design that blends classic colonial charm with modern comfort.

The kitchen sets the tone for the home. Rift-cut white oak cabinetry, honed stone counters, and a custom brass hood create warmth and contrast. Soft lighting and hand-glazed tile bring subtle depth. A wall that conceals HVAC systems was transformed into a design feature, integrating both functional and fixed pantry doors to maintain symmetry and flow. The result is a kitchen that feels as inviting as it is refined, exemplifying thoughtful farmhouse interior design throughout.

Throughout the home, natural materials connect one space to the next. Plaster walls, stone, and muted metals bring softness and structure, while layered fabrics and tailored furniture add warmth. Every detail was designed for how the family lives—comfortable, thoughtful, and timeless.
